Research Interests
Dr. Noshita is broadly interested in the evolution of morphology and the stability of morphometric traits from a mathematical point of view. In particular, the morphometrics of plant organs such as cassava leaves and shoots of staple crops like soybean, sorghum and wheat spike his interest. Dr. Noshita collaborates with us on the morphometrics of soybean by comparing japanese and american shoot architectures that are cosidered to be "optimal".
