Ankita joined us in January 2018 to study how growth patterns of root hairs occur in response to varying spatial distributions of nitrogen and phosphor. Within her research project she develops microfluidic techniques in collaboration with
Leidong Mao at UGA to obtain novel imaging data and develop methodologies to mathematically quantify patterns of root hair formation.
